Sauna Wrap FAQs

Each session is 60 minutes in duration. Wear little if any jewelry, and it is suggested to bring an extra set of clothes to change into after your treatment. Long pants and a long sleeve shirt along with socks is required. You may also wish to bring in your own earphones as we have television or music for your enjoyment during your treatment. Please try to come well hydrated.

Yes, infrared sauna wraps are not only safe but quite beneficial, but as with any product you may want to try and use, it is always best to get the most information possible. It is always best, if you should have any questions or concerns to always check with your physician or health care provider before beginning any treatment. As long as we use Infrared as prescribed and understand what we are using it for, it is safe. Infrared heat is within the same frequency levels as our own body heat and this is in tune with our own energy field. It is, therefore, safe and compatible for us to use, allowing deep heat penetration that is not possible with other methods of heating. Far infrared radiation (FIR) is considered harmless for a human. Infrared heaters are even used to heat premature babies in hospital incubators because of the many health benefits infrared heat provides.
(If you are on medications or have physical conditions, you should consult your physician before using any deep heating treatment.)

How often can I get a sauna wrap?

This will depend on a person’s lifestyle. If a person is very physically active undertaking significant walking, jogging, working out, or competitive sports, the sauna wrap can be used as often as every 2 days. For best results it is preferable right before a workout as this will help burn the most dramatic amount of calories and also has maximum impact on body definition. With relatively physically inactive people, a minimum of 3 days between sessions is recommended. More regular sessions are unnecessary and may actually be detrimental to results. Upon reaching the intended body shape, it is possible to revert to maintenance only schedule, which for most people, should be around 2 – 4 times a month.

How does the sauna wrap increase my metabolism?

The heat produced by the infrared sauna wrap is similar to that of a cardiovascular or physical workout all while laying down for a period of sixty minutes. This Infrared heat stimulates the metabolism and increases blood circulation just like it would with a workout session. It will also increase your heart rate and increase blood circulation.
This increased circulation will increase your basic metabolic rate and by doing so consumes or burns calories. As you relax in the gentle infrared sauna wrap, your body is actually hard at work producing sweat, pumping blood, and burning calories. As your body increases sweat production to cool itself, your heart will work harder to pump blood at a greater rate to boost blood circulation.

Can everyone use an infrared sauna wrap?

Virtually everyone from all walks of life can gain benefit from infrared heat therapy. However, sessions should not be undertaken unless clients have received their doctor’s advice where any of the following conditions exist: Over activity of the thyroid gland, cardiac infraction, cardiac weakness, constriction of the coronary blood vessels, mark high or low blood pressure, diabetes with required insulin treatment, disturbances to the function of the kidneys and associated organs, fever, severe general infection, contact allergies, skin diseases, open wounds, newly acquired shingles, pregnancy, prescribed medicines causing increased sensitivity to physical stimulation (for example: antibiotics), cases of severe varicose veins. If any doubt exists, it is recommended that clients seek their doctor’s or health practitioner’s advice before the use of infrared sauna wrap.

Laser Lipo FAQs

What is laser lipo?

Laser lipo is a new method to lose weight/inches in areas that may have always been stubborn for you to lose it.

Does laser lipo hurt?

Absolutely not! We have had thousands of people use this system and no one has ever complained of any sort of pain. Typically during treatment, you would feel slight warming in the treatment area which the lipo paddles are on.

How does laser lipo work?

During laser lipo, the fat is penetrated and broken down by the emitted light. When the fat is broken down, it mimics that of working out. Your body uses the fat as if you were working out then expels what it doesn't need through the body's natural processes.

Is laser lipo effective?

Yes! A majority of people we see lose inches in a relatively short period of time. Best of all its easy!

Is laser lipo safe?

Yes, laser lipo has no UVA or UVB rays so you do not need to worry about overexposure. Laser lipo operates at 635nm which has been shown to help reduce fat and that's it. No adverse side effects have been shown.

Where can you do laser lipo?

Laser lipo can be done almost anywhere on the body as it has no adverse side effects. Typically people focus on areas like their stomachs, thighs, arms, butt, and chin.

How long until I see results from laser lipo?

Everyone is different but typically you can see noticeable results after a few weeks of sessions.

How is laser lipo different from liposuction?

Laser lipo is different from liposuction because it is non-invasive. This amazing technology uses current methods to get your body to naturally melt the fat away.

Ultrasonic Cavitation FAQs

How does ultrasonic cavitation work?

Cavitation is the use of low-frequency ultrasounds to penetrate the skin and cause fat cells to breakdown. The fat cells cannot withstand the pressure of these vibrations, causing the cells to implode into a liquid form and pass through the body.

Where do the fat cells go?

Your body absorbs the fat and it passes through the liver and comes out as waste. The fat cells are broken down but the cells have the capacity to grow again with a high calorie diet. Thus, it is recommended to pair the treatment with a healthy and balanced diet.

Where are the best parts of the body to use ultrasonic cavitation on?

Cavitation is best used on areas of localized fat. This includes areas such as the upper arm, thighs, abdomen, hips, and buttocks. It cannot be applied to bony areas such as the head or neck.

Can I lose weight with ultrasound cavitation?

Ultrasonic cavitation is not a method of weight loss. It is designed to reshape the body and remove localized fat or cellulite. It is not a replacement for weight loss programs or regular exercise.

How many treatments can I have?

We recommend having at least six cavitation sessions. Treatments must be done at least 72 hours apart to ensure that the cells do not reabsorb the fat.

How long until I see results?

Most people will have a noticeable reduction in their measurements after the very first treatment! The fat removal process continues for up to one week following treatment, so it may decrease further a few days afterwards. Note that results may vary due to differences in metabolisms.

Is ultrasonic cavitation painful?

You may feel a slight heat sensation or tingling, but otherwise the treatment is painless.

Is ultrasonic cavitation safe?

Yes! Ultrasonic Cavitation is FDA approved.

Does ultrasonic cavitation require time off afterwards?

No! You can go right back into your daily routine. We do recommend that you increase your water intake to two liters (about six or eight cups) of water a day to help with fat removal.

Are there any side effects with ultrasonic cavitation?

Target areas may experience a little redness.

Who is the ideal candidate for ultrasonic cavitation?

Patients should generally be fit and healthy and be within 10-15% of their ideal weight.

Is ultrasonic cavitation for everyone?

There are contraindications for using cavitation devices for treatment of localized fat. Ultrasonic cavitation is not for people with heart disease, kidney failure, or liver failure. It is not for those who are pregnant, and you must wait a minimum of three months after childbirth, or at least six months after C section. Getting your health care provider's approval is recommended post childbirth if you would like to try ultrasonic cavitation.

Radiofrequency Skin Tightening FAQs

Does radiofrequency skin tightening work?

Yes, in fact, radiofrequency skin tightening can boost collagen by approximately 20% and turn over dead skin cells much faster than topical products. Wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin typically are the result of lost collagen and elastin from factors such as age, sun damage or even genetics. Radiofrequency skin tightening is a procedure that uses a device to emit radiofrequency waves into the outer layer of the skin. This produces heat, which in turn reduces wrinkles, stimulates collagen production, and restores elasticity to give your skin a tighter-looking appearance.

What areas can be treated with radiofrequency skin tightening?

If you are looking into radiofrequency skin tightening, you may be wondering what areas of the body can be treated. Since there are two different sized devices – one for larger areas and one for smaller areas, such as the face – you will find that almost any area can be treated with ease. Some of the places that are common for the radiofrequency procedure include the face, abdomen and thighs for cellulite purposes, and other areas, such as the hands.

Is radiofrequency truly safe?

Many individuals may wonder whether or not this treatment is truly safe. The answer is yes – in fact, it can be much less risky than traditional surgical methods of skin tightening! We are exposed to small level radiofrequency on a regular basis, from microwaves, cell phones and televisions. The devices used for radiofrequency skin tightening procedures have been cleared by the FDA as safe for use.

How many treatments will I need?

It may be recommended to have a session of radiofrequency skin tightening twice weekly with an average of 6 – 12 sessions in a treatment plan, or a session once every 7-10 days, with an average of 8 sessions in a treatment plan. Treatment plans are determined based on the individual’s needs.

Can anyone have radio frequency treatments?

Yes, however, there are some contraindications. It cannot be used in patients with pacemakers, metal plates or pins in the treatment area, severe heart disease, connective tissue diseases, vascular disease, uncontrolled diabetes, liver diseases, endocrine disorders, pregnancy, and-or breastfeeding women.

Butt Enhancement FAQs

What is Vacuum Therapy (non-Surgical Butt- Lift)?

Vacuum-therapy stimulates muscles, break down cellulite and fatty deposits, eliminating toxins, improving lymphatic drainage and taking inches off. Vacuum therapy also helps restore the skin’s natural elasticity to smooth the appearance of facial wrinkles and “orange-peel” dimpling in the thighs and buttocks. This therapy is painless, safe and highly effective. Vacuum-therapy, through the combination of its different action mechanisms, as well as stimulating the blood, performs lymphatic drainage, which means a direct stimulation to the fibroblast as well as an increment in collage elastin, improving the texture and tone of the treated zone.

Treatment can be done twice a week.

  • Raises, enlarges and reaffirms the gluteus without surgeries

  • Increases the skin flexibility

  • Releases the venous and lymphatic flow

  • Exfoliates the epidermis making skin softer

  • Stimulates dermis and hypodermis

  • Decreases muscle tension

The suction cups simultaneously placed on the buttocks are able to correct and tone the gluteal muscles. This wonderful body enhancement treatment includes two cups and a y-type hose that connects to the suction machine.

These cups are made of a transparent material that allows the specialist to visualize the effect of suction monitor treatment and ensure quality. You may experience a slight pinching sensation as the cups are being applied or removed, but otherwise it is pain-free!

How many treatments will I need?

Typically just 2-4 sessions will give you outstanding results when done in a 1-2 week timespan! The trick is maintaining the results with a proper treatment plan. We recommend 6-8 treatments your first month (twice a week), then 1-2 times a month for maintenance. Just like working out, consistency is key, but let us do all the hard work for you!

How soon until I see results?

You will start to see a difference after just one session! To make your results long lasting, a series of treatments is recommended.

How long do results last?

Like any other cosmetic treatment, results are not permanent. We recommend exercising for a longer lasting result.
Our procedure has no downtime, is a fraction of the cost of a surgical procedure and is proven to be safe and effective.

Breast Enhancement FAQs

If I have had a surgical breast enhancement, is the vacuum breast lift suitable for me?

No, we do not recommend the person who has some fillers or implants in the breast to do the vacuum breast treatment.

Is there any downtime for the vacuum breast lift?

No

Is it painful during the breast lift treatment?

The process is usually painless but can be slightly uncomfortable for the first minutes. Otherwise, it is a relaxing and comfortable process for anyone who wants breast enlargement.

Are the results permanent?

The results are not permanent. The more sessions you attend, the longer the results last. You won’t experience any permanent scarring of marks after the treatment of even when you decide to discontinue the treatment.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) FAQs

What is electrical muscle stimulation or EMS?

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (abbreviated EMS) is the use of electrical impulses to cause muscle contractions. Also known as electromyostimulation or neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES), it is a tool used by body builders, athletes and physical therapy patients to strengthen muscles with a electrical charge, not by traditional contraction methods caused by the user from the nervous system. During EMS the electric charge is sent via electrodes attached to the skin surface.

Yes it is safe and FDA approved. Mild redness may appear occasionally where the patches have been but will be highly unlikely to cause any actual pain. During the procedure, the client remains comfortable and can resume back to work immediately after. EMS is completely safe (provided you meet the criteria regarding your health questionnaire). This treatment is a non-surgical procedure without the need for anaesthesia. It has been approved by the FDA and there is no downtime following the treatment. EMS training is no more strenuous than a conventional workout. The equipment uses low impulse frequency. The experience of receiving the impulses may take a little getting used to, but it is not painful in any way.

EMS Training is an effective way to improve your fitness level, body image and wellbeing in far less time.
We suggest 2/3 sessions per week totalling 8-15 sessions on each area.  We do not advise more than 3 sessions a week. Clinical trial data has shown that for most people, a course of 8-15 treatments leads to greater results.

How long does each session take?

Each treatment time of 60 minutes would include attaching the patches – giving approximately 50-55 minutes on the machine.

How long will it take before I see results?

Our clients usually report visible results within four sessions. It can take a little longer, or shorter, depending on your body weight and level of fitness when you come for your first session.

Is the electric current dangerous for my nervous system?

No, there is no danger of the electric current damaging the nervous system. The use of low frequency impulse is widely used in training and rehabilitation therapy, and EMS uses the natural principle of sending electrical impulses direct to the muscles.

Will I lose weight with EMS?

You will lose inches not weight using EMS. It is a passive exercise and as such will not burn calories. EMS is designed specifically for toning, firming, building and tightening slack muscles.

How long will the results last?

EMS results like any form of exercise are never permanent unless you do something to maintain them. You should be able to maintain your results with 2-3 sessions per week.

What areas of the body can be treated?

  • Stomach

  • Arms

  • Legs

  • Buttocks

Who are ideal candidates for EMS?

People who are 18 years or older and in good shape are ideal candidates for EMS treatment. If you eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly and live an active lifestyle EMS is for you! Unfortunately, those with thick fat stores or those who weigh more than 20 pounds over their ideal body weight may not get a significant muscle contraction.
In this case, it’s helpful to lose a few pounds before starting treatment to ensure you receive maximum benefits from the procedure.

Who is not an ideal candidate for EMS treatment?

People who have the following issues should not have EMS treatment:

  • Women who are menstruating

  • Electronic or metal implants in the targeted area

  • People with epilepsy

  • Drug pumps

  • Implanted defibrillators

  • Hemorrhagic conditions

  • Recent surgical procedures

  • Malignant tumors

  • Implanted neurostimulators

  • Cardiac pacemakers

Wood Therapy FAQs

What is wood therapy?

In short, wood therapy uses a number of different wooden massage-like tools to help break down fat and cellulite. The wooden instruments are used to apply direct pressure to “problem areas” and essentially naturally eliminate excess body fat. The wood therapy we know today is actually based on an ancient Oriental wood manipulation that dates back hundreds of years!

Are wood therapy and body contouring the same thing?

Not really. They are technically two different types of treatments but have basically the same goals. Wood therapy helps to break down your body fat while body contouring helps to tighten your skin and improve elasticity.

Does wood therapy work?

To answer this, you have to understand that this therapy works differently for everyone. There are many factors that come into play to make this therapy a success. Some of these factors are age, weight, and frequency of treatment. While your body might respond to it at its own pace, one thing that is assured in this wood therapy is that it is very relaxing.

What are the benefits of wood therapy?

  • Stress relief: regular therapy is extremely beneficial to reducing your stress. Daily treatment with a roller can be an excellent way to remove the stress of your day.

  • Loosening the tight muscles: rolling over areas where you’re experiencing muscle tightness can provide welcome relief.

  • Eliminating the toxins from the body: you’ll be able to eliminate toxins from the body with regular treatment on inflamed areas. Regular massage of areas where you’ve experienced difficulty can limit toxins from the body and cleanse your body.

  • Improving the metabolism: Managing cellulite and getting regular massages will help you to naturally improve your metabolism.

  • Burning fat naturally: targeting fat directly will help you to burn it naturally and with the metabolic benefits of this massage, you will see a number of improvements to your fat-burning potential.

  • Breaking down the cellulite: breaking down unsightly cellulite through the body can give you extra confidence, make your skin appear smoother and improve your life.

Is wood therapy safe?

Since it is one of the natural therapies, it is very safe. In fact, it is defined as one of the non-invasive holistic massage therapies. However, there is no harm in consulting your doctor first before starting the therapy.

Is wood therapy painful?

The answer is yes. As this therapy is performed using wooden instruments and tools, the therapy hurts. Usually, people find the first few sessions tough. Remember, it is going to take much more pressure to break cellulite for the parts of your body where you have the most of it which tend to hurt, but afterward, the feeling is quite relaxing.

How long do the results of wood therapy last?

The more regular you are with these wood therapies, the longer is the effects of the therapy. In general, the results will last for around 3 months after your last session.
